It’s Official: Campaign to Elect Lamb, Byrne, Aber & Matarazzo Has Been Formed

Warren “Drew” Chabot, Chief of Staff of Toms River Township in the Daniel Rodrick Administration has filed a form D-2 (below) establishing a candidate committee known as “Campaign to Elect Lamb, Bryne, Aber & Matarazzo” in Toms River. Without additional information, we must “assume” that Ward 1 representative Council President Justin Lamb and Ward 2 Councilman Bill Byrne are running for re-election and newcomers Harry Aber and Anthony Matarazzo are running for Ward 3 and Ward 4 respectively, on the Daniel Rodrick “ticket” and not the Toms River GOP – WHY?? More to follow as more is known.

Drew Chabot is also the Chairman and Treasurer of Daniel Rodrick’s Continuing Political Committee (CPC) “Citizens for Good Government” who held that event in January celebrating the accomplishments of his first year as Mayor of Toms River, that was attended by Bill Spadea causing a crushing blow to the Spadea for Governor campaign. To refresh everyone’s memory, in 2024, Bill Spadea called Daniel Rodrick “the worst mayor in New Jersey…cutting budgets on the backs of the police…and he would do anything to help get him out of office.” But politics is politics and Spadea underestimated the blow back by not only posing, but sharing a photo of him and Rodrick. Following this “party” Shore News Network, Daniel Rodrick’s media source, reported that about $100,000 has been raised, though the First Quarter 2025 NJ Elect Report shows about $48,000 (gross) was raised with substantial donations from the following: Donald Burke (Daniel Rodrick’s lawyer against Middletown Township Board of Education to save his tenure) of $2,500; Byrne for Council of $1,195.40 (cleaned out the account, rather than putting towards elections in 2025); Ashley Chabot of $2,500 (Drew’s wife); Greg McGuckin of $2,500 (surprised…not!); Fairview Insurance of $5,000 (new insurance broker for Toms River, saving Toms River millions while Daniel Rodrick pays nothing for his personal insurance); Ian Goldman of $2,500 (Toms River Township attorney); Owen, Little & Associates of $5,000 (engineering); Kim Pascarella of $5,000 (new Toms River MUA Commissioner, Prosecutor and father of Peter Pascarella) and Rothstein, Mandell, et.al law firm of $5,000 (handling labor matters in Toms River). Report follows so take a look, as we always provide the FACTS!

2025 is off to the races with the Ward elections and Daniel Rodrick is selling Toms River to the highest donors!
